Old friends.

You know how it is right? You were really close when you were younger, but as the years progressed you drifted further and further away. We should all be so 'unlucky'. Friendship is the most enlightening experience you can ever have without the pleasure of actually owning it.

Well today I met Suraya. She's a really old friend of mine, one I've not seen or heard from in years. Usually there's this uncomfortable silence as you try to 'urp and uhh' your way through the civil conversations, but I was fortunate enough to not have any of it at all. We chatted and laughed as though we've been constantly talking to one another regularly. It's a mark of good friends; something that is so exceedingly hard to come by these days.

The coffee and lemon scented teas were brilliant, but none more so than the conversations we had. They were thrilling - our laughters were real, our memories just as vivid and the company, the company was sublime.

We should all really be so lucky.

Here's to Suraya, a great friend, a brilliant 'mad-scientist' and an excellent conversationalist.

Cheers.

And everybody else too.
The many faces of mmm...Zull...

Now this is how you do the "juling". Put your finger up to your nose and then..

Naem. Special just for you buddy. A day earlier instead of the lunch at Alexis one.

And me.

Some extra photos from Singapore.
